The Bootleggers play authentic blues, roots and soul - from the Delta to Chicago, with a few stops in between.

The band features veteran Australian musicians Rudi Wagemaker (harp/guitar/vocals), Geoff Hughes (guitar/vocals) and Richard Coombs (drums/vocals).

They bring a contemporary edge to classics from artists like Howlin’ Wolf, Robert Johnson and B.B. King, while staying true to the storytelling heart of the blues.

Their original material sits comfortably with the classics, delivered with exceptional musicianship and deep groove.

The Bootleggers' debut album will be released in November 2026.
